1. Agreement
By downloading or playing BAITED you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't play. If you got BAITED from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA) also applies; if anything conflicts, these Terms apply between you and us, and Apple has no responsibility for the game.
2. Who can play
BAITED is made for players 13 and older. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you and is responsible for any purchases. Players under 13 who use the app get a restricted experience (see the Privacy Policy, section 6).
3. Your license
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to play BAITED for non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer (except where the law allows it), resell or exploit the game, its art or its servers.
4. Virtual items (coins, gems, crates, passes, cosmetics, tricks)
- Virtual items are a limited license to use features in the game. They have no real-world value, can't be exchanged for money and can't be sold or transferred outside the game.
- Crates contain random items. The odds are shown in the game before you open or buy one.
- Prices are shown in the store before you pay. Purchases are made and refunded through Apple or Google under their rules. Except where the law requires otherwise, purchases are final.
- "Remove Ads" removes ads between battles; optional reward videos stay available.
- Your progress lives on your device (and in cloud save if you use it). If you delete the app or your data without cloud save, progress may be lost. Purchases can be restored from Settings → Restore purchases.
- We may change, rebalance or retire items and prices to keep the game fair and fun. If we shut down a paid feature you bought within the previous 90 days, we'll tell you how to request a refund where the law requires it.
5. Play fair, be cool
Don't:
- cheat, use bots, modified apps, exploits or anything that automates or reads the game unfairly;
- attack, overload or try to break into our servers, or tamper with rewards or purchases;
- use names that are offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonate someone, or contain personal info (yours or anyone's);
- harass, threaten or scam other players.
You can report players in the game. We may hide names, reset trophies, remove leaderboard entries, or block access for breaking these rules, without refunding virtual items, to the extent the law allows.
6. Ads
BAITED is free and supported by ads and optional purchases. Reward videos are always optional. Ads are provided by Google AdMob; we aren't responsible for third-party ads or the sites they link to.
Ad-free options
BAITED No Ads (monthly) is an auto-renewing subscription that removes the ads between battles while it is active. Payment is charged to your Apple ID (or Google Play account) when you confirm the purchase. It renews automatically each month at the price shown in the store unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store / Google Play account settings; canceling stops the next renewal, and the current month stays ad-free. Ad-Free Forever is a one-time purchase with the same effect that never expires. Both can be restored with RESTORE PURCHASES in Settings. Optional reward videos stay available either way. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
7. Online features
Online play, leaderboards, rewards verification and cloud save need our server. We may change or stop online features, and they may sometimes be unavailable.
8. Disclaimers
BAITED is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties (merchantability, fitness for a purpose, non-infringement) and don't promise the game will be error-free or always online. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of virtual items or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or USD $50 if you paid nothing). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Ending
You can stop playing anytime and delete your server data in Settings → Delete my data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we shut the game down.
11. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in. Please contact us first; most issues get solved by email.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the game. Playing after the update means you accept it.
